Lot 22 Montrachet Acres 2263 square feet living area 2961 total square feet 4 bedrooms/2.5 bath One Acre Lot! |
|
Luxurious high-end home on a one-acre lot. Under construction. Eleven foot ceilings throughout the living areas and ten foot in bedrooms. Living areas consist of formal dining, foyer and living room; and kitchen, breakfast and keeping room. The design of both homes we are building in Montrachet Acres could be called Classic Old Louisiana style. Both homes consist of custom made wood windows and doors on the front of the house with old cypress beams and lintels. This house has an interesting, unpredictable floor plan. Separate hallways divide the master bedroom from the kids’ bedrooms. The garage is on the front of the house, but entry is from the side. This way, no concrete in your front yard, and the entire view of your back yard is free of automobiles. Upon entry to the house from the garage is a “stop and drop” area, which is where the kids hang their book sacks and you can kick your shoes off—a place for everything and everything in its place. From there you walk into the kitchen which is comprised of custom built cabinets (complete with the full extension drawer glides that we love) and cool slab granite. Off the kitchen and out of the way is your laundry room with mop sink and powder room. Adjoining the kitchen is the breakfast area and keeping room. Pass through a columned wall opening and you’ll be in the family room which joins into the formal dining room and foyer to the front entrance. A wall of windows lines the kitchen and family rooms and visually extends your living area. No need for heavy drapery because—remember—you’re on a full acre of land with no one in your back yard. It’s a wonderful set up. There are also two storage rooms—a small one inside the garage, and a larger one in the rear of the house. We are excited about bringing this home to you and will release more info during the building process. |
